I'm Maureen T., the breeder behind Podunk CCRs in partnership with The Thompson's located in Spring Grove, IL. We breed fully health tested Curlies from quality pedigrees and working backgrounds. Sound Curlies with good temperaments. The sire and dam are thoughtfully paired with health, temperament and conformation and field ability the primary factors. The puppies are raised with love and provided training and stimulation so they can become a wonderful part of your family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC and UKC registration, microchipping, first round of vaccinations, dworming, and puppy socialization. The refundable deposit is requested upon approval of your puppy application.”

Maureen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Glycogen Storage Disease Type IIIA, GSD IIIA, PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
