I'm Jeanie T., the breeder behind Poodle Privilege located in Harker Heights, TX. I am a hobby breeder, stay at home mom with dedication to raising my children and my puppies in a well loving responsible home. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!
Q. & A. with Jeanie
Why did you start breeding?
Years ago we rescued dogs. One girl was pregnant and we fell into the joy of having an unexpected litter. We learned quickly that it was a lot of work, but we didn’t mind. So much reading, research, and plenty of vet advice! We missed it, and decided to look into doing it on purpose. We took our time preparing and getting educated.
What makes your program special?
As a hobby breeder, we limit the number of litters per year, our puppies and their parents are our pets. We socialize, potty train, and handle by children from day one. They are raised indoors. We offer videos and pictures daily once an adoption has begun, until the pup goes to their forever home.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, brown, cafe au lait, silver, silver-beige, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
