I'm Kara G., the breeder behind Port Bay Danes located in New York. Our high-quality puppies are the result of extensive research and thorough care for our outstanding dogs and puppies. Our breedings are carefully thought out so we are able to match pedigrees, body types, temperaments, and personalities in order to share only well-bred puppies.

I am devoted to bringing well bred, well tempered dogs to families in love with the Dane breed as I am.What makes your program special?
I care for all of my dogs like family. The puppies are raised in my home with everyone on board making them top priority. We spend every moment making sure they're clean, comfortable, and happy! I would do (and have done) anything they need to become the best puppy for your family 💖What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue brindle, brindle, fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"My asking price includes microchipping, 1st Distemper vaccine with the Vet, AKC registration, deworming, generous go home package, puppy socialization, 1m pet health ins and lifetime breeder support. All of my puppies are the same price regardless of gender or color. They're all equally important to me. The deposit secures your puppy. Deposits can be transferred to another litter."

About Callie
Callie is an extremely good-natured dog who loves everyone. She could spend the entire day laying or sitting with you getting petted. She was easy to train and has remained obedient. She is an active dog who also loves to play, especially if she finds a stick in the yard! She is an excellent mother to her puppies and amazing companion to my family.

Bruno is my true gentle giant. He has always been a very polite Dane who will kindly sit in your lap. He absolutely loves playing tug o war! He is very social with every person and dog he meets. He is also very active. It's amazing to see him running freely in our yard with the others. He's been a great role model to all and a wonderful addition to my family.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
