I'm Kim B., the breeder behind Poso Creek Corgis located in Sparta, TN. We raise our puppies with 100 percent dedication by providing them a great foundation so they can become well-socialized and become loving additions to their forever homes. Breeder support and a continued effort to enhance the breed are the main objectives of our program. We hope to stay connected to our buyers long after the puppy goes home!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved animals...particularly dogs and horses. I started at the age of 12 years old competing with my horses. I eventually bought an Australian Shepherd of which launched me into enjoying hanging out with my dogs, whether it be hiking, traveling, dog shows, obedience competions....I just enjoy the relationship that I have with my canine family member.What makes your program special?
I understand the importance of thorough health testing, as I had been a vet technician for many years, as well having amazing mentors in my breeds throughout the years. I learned that Health , structure, temperament means everything....and then their beauty is the icing on the cake!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, sable, black and tan, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Kim
Kim has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kim partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"My puppies come with AKC Registration (limited registration for pets), age appropriate vaccinations ( at least 2 ) leave at 10 weeks, deworming, 1 year health guarantee against genetic diseases, Well Puppy Exam with report from veterinarian and a microchip. I also provide copies of the parents health clearances. The deposit will be applied to the total price of a puppy. The deposit is refundable under certain circumstances that is fair to buyer and seller."

Skyler is my 4th generation corgi since 1996, and she is a treasure. Not only does she have great structure and coloring...her temperament is amazing. She does not know a stranger, and loves everyone. There are several generations of health tested dogs behind her lineage. Skyer is clear for DM, vWD, EIC diseases, eyes cleared by ophthalmologist and hips OFA...no hip dysplasia. One of Skyler's favorite activities is for us to go on easy hikes around our home.

Rosie shines with kindness. She is a kind and gentle soul, and you can see her gentle nature and sweetness shine in her eyes. She loves everyone, and does not know a stranger.....everyone is considered her friend. She loves to hang out with our cat, Tori. Oh...and she loves pup cups! She has been tested for DM, vWD, EIC diseases, and is a carrier for DM (not affected), but she will only be bred to a "clear" male...so her puppies will not be at risk. She also has her eye clearances.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
