I'm Melissa M., the breeder behind PrimeCut Bulldogs located in Mount Airy, NC. I strive to produce healthy dogs with wonderful conformation for the show ring while being able to produce many families with new family members. Each breeding and pedigree is carefully studied to ensure that we are doing our part to better the breed. We take temperament very serious. Puppies are AKC registered, & are sold on non-breeding/limited registration, unless other wise noted. Each puppy has vet checks at 8/10weeks old for boasters and go home with a Health Certificate.

Why did you start breeding?
Having been born into a breeding family, I learned at an early age how to read standards and understand pedigrees of various types of animals. I learned the important aspects of careful planning for success. For the past 20yrs I have been able to run my own breeding program in the livestock industry, with registered Quarter Horses, Beefmaster Cattle and Boer Goats.What makes your program special?
Each pairing is careful thought out and researched well in advance to breeding. I spend countless hours studying pedigrees, health testing and viewing sires in person in different settings for temperament as well as studying what they are producing. I produce quality puppies meeting written standard for the breed, those that conformationally sound and well adjusted socially.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Melissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $4,000 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes: AKC registration, worming & vaccine protocol from my vets office as well as a Health Certificate from my vet. I prefer my puppies stay until 10weeks old to ensure proper socialization. All puppies are usually priced the same regardless of male /female or color/patterns, with a limited/non-breeding registration, unless they will be going to a show home.”
Contract & health guarantee
Melissa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eclipse was a "COVID" pup born at the wrong time in life, with all the states shut down she was able to get out to the show ring and once shows opened back she did not enjoy it. She is very loving, lap dog if allowed, and overly friendly. She has passed these traits off on her kids as well. She has amazing conformation and is super active, she is not a couch dog but a trail dog. This is her last litter, as she has produced 10 pups in 2 litters she has officially retired to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains and just being my pet.

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
