Puppy Love by Elizabeth

Elizabeth S.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth S., the breeder behind Puppy Love by Elizabeth located in White Plains, KY. I raise AKC Poodles in my home. The puppies we raise are well-loved since I raise them in my home with my 9 kids. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding by accident. I had no clue what I was doing and ended up with a litter of two puppies. Since then, I have learned so much over the years. I have learned how to be a better breeder through advice from my mother in law, other breeders, vets, and thorough research online. We get so excited and anxious when we are expecting a litter of puppies. It is such an exciting time!!
  • What makes your program special?

Since I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my kids we are able to put a lot of time and effort into our dogs and puppies, so when our puppies go to their new homes they are well adapted to a life with their new families. Our puppies learn how to use a doggy door which helps tremendously with potty training too! A lot of love and care goes into our puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
