I'm Sarah R., the breeder behind Puppy Paws Colorado located in Fort Lupton, CO. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. My goal is to produce a great representation of the Goldendoodle, Sheepadoodle, and Cavapoo lines and to continue improving the line with each generation. My passion is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for Goldendoodles and then Sheepadoodles and finally cavapoos inspired me to share these breeds with the world in a responsible way. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes.
  • What makes your program special?

    This breed is my passion, and I love spending my life with them. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sheepadoodle puppies are standard size. Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, merle, and parti. Sheepadoodle puppies are black and white. Poodle puppies include red and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
