About Akira
Akira is 50 pounds of pure joy and affection. As an F1 Bernedoodle, she is the beautiful combination of her Bernese Mountain Dog mother and Poodle father, bringing together the best qualities of both breeds. Akira loves spending time with her family, whether it’s going for long walks, enjoying endless belly rubs, or meeting up for playdates with her puppy friends. Our girl is a sweet and playful companion who naturally draws attention wherever she goes — collecting lots of compliments along the way.

About Kaia
Sweet and spunky, Kaia is absolutely adored by our children and brings so much joy to our home. At 30 pounds, this confident girl was the most outgoing of her litter and has carried that bold, loving spirit into adulthood. She has a special way of sensing when someone needs comfort and is always ready to offer a snuggle. Kaia’s playful personality keeps us smiling — she happily “bites” at the bath water and tries to catch the air from the blow dryer after grooming. This beautiful F1b Sable-Phantom Mini Bernedoodle is the daughter of our stunning Akira and handsome Murphy, and she truly embodies the wonderful traits we desire to pass on to other homes searching for their forever puppy. Her favorite pastimes include tug-of-war, digging in her sandbox, and curling up for movie nights with her favorite people at the end of the day.
Good level
Quality Iowa Doodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bernedoodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
