I'm Parish F., the breeder behind Raccoon Creek Corgis located in Gallipolis, OH. I raise all of my puppies on ENS, ESI, the rule of seven, handling exercises, and noise and activity exposure. All of my puppies are also crate trained before they go to their new homes. You can learn more about my program on my web page raccooncreekcorgis.
Q. & A. with Parish
Why did you start breeding?
My journey into dog breeding began with a dream I had when I was just 8 years old. I began studying dog breeds, behavior, training methods, and the principles of ethical breeding. My hands-on experience started by fostering pregnant stray cats and raising their litters, which gave me valuable insights into animal care, birthing, and neonatal development.
What makes your program special?
I match each puppy to their forever home based on temperament between 3 to 6 weeks of age. While I do my best to accommodate preferences for gender and color, the primary goal is to ensure the best possible fit for both the puppy and your family. To help with this, I’ll ask about the temperament you’re looking for, your preferred activity level, desired sociability, and etc.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
