I'm Nichole S., the breeder behind Rafter 58 Bernese Mountains and Bernedoodles located in Findlay, OH. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Nichole
Why did you start breeding?
As a trainer I see multitudes of dogs - many of which have fabulous bloodlines but unfortunately I also see many that have poor breeding backgrounds that lead to both physical and mental issues. I decided to step up and become part of a community dedicated to providing quality animals for families and individuals looking for lifelong friends.
What makes your program special?
As a professional dog trainer I have the unique opportunity to provide a level of expertise, not just in the breeding aspect, but also in the training end of my puppies lives. My goal is to work with the puppies, as much as possible according to what is age appropriate in basic life skills before they go home. I can also offer training support for my clients that take home a puppy!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Bernedoodle puppies include tri-color and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Roxy
Roxy is an absolute sweetheart with an expressive face and soft, tri-colored coat. Her loving nature makes her the perfect companion, always by my side with her warm, affectionate presence. She is as smart as she is adorable and her favorite past-time is long naps on the sofa!

About Remi
Remi is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet!! Even as I type this he is ever so gently resting his paw on my lap, telling me that I should really rather be petting him... He loves to sleep in, cuddle and play tag with his best friends. He is as much of a gentleman as he is handsome and he passes on his kind, gentle hearted nature to his offspring!
