Meet the breeder

I'm Mike L., the breeder behind Railway Acres Kennel located in Milford, IN. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on confirmation and intelligence. We are highly dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets!

Q. & A. with Mike

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was mentored by a grandparent who was Breeder of Cocker Spaniels. I've been helping in breeding programs since I was 11 years old. I was away from it from age 23-26 and got back into it when I had a small family that could help me! We've been breeding the Doodles for 10+ years now.
  • What makes your program special?

We're a family program, so the puppies get a lot of attention from our 4 kids. We try to bring in and keep back only the top picks in temperament and color. We also do the necessary OFA and Genetic testing.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in a kennel on my property.
