I'm Desirae P., the breeder behind Raintree Lakes Doodles located in Big Sandy, TX. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We stand behind the health, structure, and temperament of our puppies and select forever homes that best compliment the unique personalities of each puppy.
Q. & A. with Desirae
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with a golden retriever. The thought of having a dog with the traits of a golden retriever but non-shedding was appealing. When we purchased our first golden doodle, we instantly fell in love with the breed. He is a trained hunting dog and a special part of our family and every one always talked about wanting one of his puppies. Now, breeding amazing puppies is a passion and a hobby.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are raised in our home. I focus on coat, temperament, health, and structure. Our dogs are cleared of all genetic diseases through DNA testing, and parents are OFA certified for hips, elbows, patellas, and heart. We use ENS and puppy culture. Puppies will go home with current vaccinations.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
