Q. & A. with Gabe and Kristy

  • Why did you start breeding?

It truly breaks our hearts when we come across a beautiful furry friend who isn't healthy. We believe they deserve the absolute best, and that's why we've dedicated ourselves to breeding well-tempered, healthy dogs. We were fortunate to spend time with a dedicated breeder who allowed us to be their understudy. We are truly grateful for the time, knowledge, and training we received.
  • What makes your program special?

Our core values guide every aspect of our breeding program. Ethical breeding practices, a commitment to the health and well-being of our dogs, and a focus on preserving and enhancing the breed's unique qualities became the pillars of our vision. Our dedication to producing not just beautiful babies but also temperamentally sound and genetically healthy puppies sets us apart in a competitive field.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Golden Retriever puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I could not have asked for a better breeder experience than I had with Gabe and Kristy! They provided me frequent updates about my sweet Milo and were always available for any questions along the way. He came home fully crate trained and potty training was a breeze as well. I highly recommend Raised Right Pups for anyone looking for a golden retriever.

We are so fortunate to have met Gabe and Kristy!!! It’s impossible for anyone to have been more communicative, caring and helpful!!! After he was born they sent pictures of our “red puppy” (collar color). It was heartwarming to see his weekly changes not only physically, but they updated us on his personality too!!! Before I had even settled on a name they asked me to tell them so they could call him by his name & they did!!! They worked on potty training, crate training, his name and when we got to meet him at 8 weeks he knew his name and came when I called him. Our first night was even joyous. He was happy in his crate (no crying), he pottied outside not in the crate. He has been amazing. Puppies aren’t like this on accident. Gabe and Kristy love and care for our puppies in all the best ways. They start training early, and in a natural gentle loving manner. They have exposed Tally to sights, sounds and textures so that he is well adjusted, curious, loving and unafraid puppy. They are more than responsible respectable breeders. They are loving humane people who truly care for their puppies and set them (and their families) up for success. They even sent a packet of presents home for him to help him and us transition!! We chatted with them when we picked up our fur baby and have spoken with them since. The internet has advice, but much of it is worthless. Gabe and Kristy have tried and true experience and are always so responsive to questions!!! We think of Gabe and Kristy as new friends, cannot say enough about our amazing new family member and how wonderful the process and Gabe and Kristy have been!!!

I lost my beautiful Girl Dandelion a few years ago and thought that I would never want another dog again. After a year without my bestest girl I decided I’d start looking for my next best friend. I’ve always wanted a full red Golden Retriever and found Gave and Christy at raised right pups. Throughout the entire eight weeks of waiting for my Boy Rusty, they made me feel fully involved in the first months of critical growth. Gabe and Christy are well educated with everything dogs and shared their knowledge with me about every aspect of raising my sweet boy! When I finally picked up my sweet boy Gabe and Christy felt more like family than just my breeders! Thank you guys so much for everything you do!

We had a really easy and positive experience working with Gabe and Kristy! They kept us updated throughout the process, regularly sending photos and information so we always felt connected and informed. Arco was healthy, well cared for, and clearly loved when he came home. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience and are very grateful for the care they put into raising him!

After losing our dogs, Daisy and Lily, in consecutive summers, we were not sure when we wanted another dog. When we finally decided to search of our new best friend, we researched and decided that a golden retriever would be the perfect dog for our family. After searching, we found Kristy and Gabe; we could not believe how beautiful Darla was and decided to to reach out. Kristy and Gabe were so amazing throughout the process of welcoming Poppy to our family. We could tell from the very beginning that they were organized, kind, and responsible breeders that truly cared about the wellbeing of the pets they care for. Kristy sent weekly videos and updates throughout the entire process, which helped us fall in love with our girl from birth to homecoming. We fall more in love with Poppy, every day! She is playful, sweet, intelligent, and everything we could ask for in a companion! This did not happen by accident; Gabe and Kristy gave Poppy the best start in life. Kristy gave us lots of information using her knowledge of Golden Retrievers, vaccinations, training, and nutrition. She responded promptly to questions and was so helpful throughout everything. Poppy came home crate trained, mostly potty trained, and knowing her name, how to sit, and how to wait. She is eager to please and catches on quickly! I cannot thank Gabe and Kristy enough for connecting me with Poppy. I cannot imagine a more perfect start to her life than with you two helping her thrive. I appreciate you guys!

Gabe and Kristy were an absolute joy to work with. Every week we received countless photos of our Apollo as he grew bigger in preparation for his transition home. They were very good at communicating his progress in training and it was wonderful to welcome home a pup who was mostly potty trained, crate trained and knew how to sit like such a sweet little boy. When we first got Apollo they gifted us a bag full of food, treats and information to help with the transition to our home. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Gabe and Kristy.
