I'm Katie R., the breeder behind Raising Doodles located in Sturtevant, WI. What started as a love for dogs and family life grew into a thoughtfully run, home based program focused on raising healthy, well-rounded doodles with excellent temperaments. Our dogs are part of our family and are raised in our home, not in kennels. From the moment puppies are born, they receive hands-on care, daily monitoring, and intentional early enrichment. We focus on proper socialization, gentle handling, and exposure to everyday household sights and sounds to help each puppy grow into a confident, adaptable companion. I am passionate about matching puppies with the right families and supporting our puppy owners for the life of their dog.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding began with a deep love for dogs and the joy they bring to family life. I spent time educating myself on canine health, temperament, genetics, and early development, realizing how much thoughtful breeding and intentions early care matter.

  • What makes your program special?

    I provide a hands-on, home-based approach and my commitment to raising puppies with intention, not volume. Beyond bringing puppies into the world, I am deeply invested in the families who welcome them home.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white, grey and white, chocolate merle, brown and white, sable, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Katie

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
