Q. & A. with Fred

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have become very close friends with a family who were and are the matriarchs of the breed. I was and am inspired in how they took such a primative breed and has shaped some of the mot family oriented Akitas I have ever seen.
  • What makes your program special?

I have waited for just the right bitch to come along and to match her up with an exceptional male, not just based on these two dogs but there parents and grandparents.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Verified owner · July 2025

Fred was very responsive and knowledgable about the breed. He loves his dogs and his puppies. He stayed in touch, gave me very regular updates. The process was as smooth as it could go and he set realistic expectations. I am so happy I found him and we are in love with Saga!

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
