I'm Michele R., the breeder behind Rathbone Bulldogs located in Alabama. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. It is important to us not only that we preserve our own phenomenal bloodlines, but that we are improving these breeds with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My parents raised Basset Hounds when I was a little girl so I have been raised loving animals and taking care of puppies.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are pets first. And I raise the newborns in a bassinet next to my bed. My kids handle them and play with them daily - they come pre spoiled, ready to be members of your family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our French Bulldog puppies include cream and fawn. Bulldog puppies include red and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
