I'm Pamela L., the breeder behind Raya Golden Retrievers located in Calhoun, GA. My priorities when breeding are health and temperament, and I strive to improve the line with each generation by seeking out complementary traits in compatible puppy parents, evaluating pedigrees and genetic testing and of course hands on when possible. I look forward to connecting with you!

Why did you start breeding?
I began showing dogs at 6, Afghans & Whippets, I bred whippets for 25 years in the US & UK. I bought my first Golden in 2009. I have enjoyed showing my dogs to numerous titles, etc. Golden's have the perfect family dog temperment. I strive to breed dogs that exemplify the standard. I research health issues & have a dog in the Morris Golden Retriever Lifetime Study & Shine On project.
