I'm Karen S., the breeder behind Razberry Meadows located in Chino Valley, AZ.
Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
Just love dogs and puppies. We showed dairy goats competitively also for years. I enjoy the challenge of perfecting a type as my one and attaining that goal which my artist trained eye considers perfection. Dog is God spelled backwards. In a world that can be cruel, I cannot imagine my life of over 60 years without them!
What makes your program special?
I try to raise my dogs as holistically and organically as possible. I believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I make fresh meat including organ meats, and organic green beans, carrots and sweet potatoes for them daily. I give them additional nutrivet vitamins daily. I have puppies all vet checked before selling and she checks 13 things especially heart eyes, and hernias are checked and rechecked. Shakespeare at 15 is strong , hearty has good eyes, heart, no leg issues, no cataracts.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
