I'm Shauna & Robert R., the breeder behind Read's Australian Labradoodles located in Johnson City, TN. We utilize puppy imprinting protocols, allowing for the foundation that is critical for developing their amazing gentle, and loving, yet operant temperaments. We have a background in positive reinforcement training and all of our puppies are raised right in the middle of our home.

What makes your program special?
We value and strive to achieve greatness in the total dog: temperament, conformation, structure, soundness, and genetics. We utilize puppy imprinting and Puppy Culture protocols/curriculum. We raise our puppies in our home with our three dog-savvy children that play a vital part in shaping our puppies. We also have positive reinforcement training and follow rigorous health testing.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, gold, apricot, cream, chalk, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, parchment, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
