I'm Julky L., the breeder behind Rebel Soul Minis located in Damascus, OR. Rebel Soul Mini American Shepherds has been raising exceptional companions since 2007. Our genetically tested dogs are family raised, not kenneled. Puppies are professionally evaluated and matched by temperament to help every family find their perfect soul puppy.

Why did you start breeding?
When I was 10 years old, I interned at my vet's office. I saw my first spay surgeries when I was that young. The vet's sister was a breeder and she helped me start. For the next 25+ years I focus much of my time learning about behavior, breeding, genetics, conformation and became a specialist in bloodlines. Breeders from all over the globe contact me for pedigree evaluation.What makes your program special?
I focus on temperament. The foundation of my program is my dog, Cherry, who happens to be my service dog. I study in depth the breeding lines I choose to use in my breeding program, going as far as 12 generations on the family tree. Puppies are always place base on their temperament and not looks.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Julky partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

A study in consistency, balance, and striking color—each puppy a reflection of intention and vision. This stage is subtle. Eyes just beginning to open, soft movements, the gentlest hints of structure and marking starting to emerge. Nothing loud, nothing rushed—just promise, unfolding slowly. Time and Hawk continue to complement one another in all the ways that matter. This pairing was chosen with purpose, and seeing it come to life again is nothing short of rewarding. Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
