I'm Amy M., the breeder behind Red Clay's Chinese Shar-pei located in Statesville, NC. Our babies are born and raised indoors and as part of our family! All our dogs are all health tested prior to breeding! Pups are very socialized! Will have first shot, dewormed, vet checked and will have eyes tacked if needed! Limited AKC papers on request come with pups, will discuss full with some.

Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Shar-pei 30 years ago and fell in love!! So many I had years ago had so many health issues. I wanted to breed to better the health and temperament because these dogs are amazing and deserve the best!What makes your program special?
We have worked hard to make our babies happy and healthy!! We have 4 generations with our Shar-pei in two separate lines, and pride ourselves with their health and temperament!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“Limited AKC on request only, full can be discussed for some. Typically, do not give breeding rights, have contract stating must spay/neuter. Pups will come with genetic health guarantee, first shot, dewormed, vet check, eyes tacked if needed and microchip. We can help with delivery for a fee! Deposit goes toward total price.”

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel, Primary Open Angle Glaucoma and Primary Lens Luxation (POAG/PLL), Shar-Pei Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
