Q. & A. with Laurie
Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to breed dogs that were most important healthy and good minded. I started over 30 years ago with Italian Greyhounds. My passion then went to the Great Dane as I wanted a working dog. My love for the cardigan was a dog a bought for myself on mother's day. From that day on I was sold. I started doing obedience, agility, and even conformation. They are so smart and fun to be with
What makes your program special?
I work from home so I am there to love on them all the time and provide a lot of mental and physical stimulation. We do lots of walks, barn yard socialization, play time with other dogs. Obedience starts early in a gentle, compassionate manner. My dogs come first and their health is of the utmost importance. I enjoy doing agility and working on training dogs for mobility and emotional support.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies include brindle and white, blue merle and white, and black and white. Great Dane puppies include brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
