Meet the breeder

I'm Rose B., the breeder behind Red Ridge Retrievers located in Beaverdam, VA. While we're new to the breeding world we are very dedicated to this journey and all of our pups. We strive to create high quality, healthy Golden Retrievers with excellent temperaments.

Q. & A. with Rose

  • Why did you start breeding?

My experience from adopting Barley was such a magical one that I knew very quickly that I would absolutely love to give others that same experience in providing them with their dream dog! Becoming a breeder allows me to do just that. I'm very engaged and dedicated to the entire process and it's such a miraculous joy to be part of the whelping and raising experience.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs and pups are raised right inside of our home. Our family consists of 7 which includes 5 kids 1-14. Our entire family is well invested in the upbringing, training, and love that goes into our breeding program. These pups will definitely be ready for family life!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
