Meet the breeder

I'm Jane P., the breeder behind Red Rock Doodles located in Sedona, AZ. I am a proud member of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA). Our dogs are bred for health and temperament to provide lifelong companions who enjoy hiking, swimming, and being with their family. I exclusively breed Standard size multigen Australian Labradoodles. The Australian Labradoodle is a cross between Labrador Retriever, Poodle and Cocker or English Spaniel. There is NO Australian Shepherd in an Australian Labradoodle. These dogs are extremely clever, sociable, comical and friendly. They love daily exercise but are gentle and lovable when handled. They are easy to train and very smart. They make great therapy dogs because of their keen intuition.

Q. & A. with Jane

  • Why did you start breeding?

After falling in love with everything about the Labradoodle, I wanted to share my love for the breed. I joined the ALAA and began to better understand what it meant to be a good breeder. I health test all my dogs to the GOLD PAW level (hips, elbows, eyes, and genetic tests required at the time of my membership). I now only breed STANDARD SIZE multigen Australian Labradoodles
  • What makes your program special?

Breeding only 1-2 litters of Australian Labradoodles annually allows me to provide all my love and attention to each puppy in each litter. I do early neurostimulation (ENS) and follow the Puppy Culture protocols. I introduce age-appropriate stimulation and provides social interactions and problem-solving opportunities to develop beautiful temperaments and curious puppies. I start crate -training and potty training to help make the transition to their forever home easier
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, red, apricot, cream, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
