I'm Cheryl H., the breeder behind Redbriar Corgis located in Big Clifty, KY. Our puppies are raised in the house or a climate-controlled room in the horse barn with much supervision and playtime. They are raised with Puppy Culture for early socialization. When weather permits, they go outside to play and potty on the grass several times a day, which helps them to integrate into your home quicker.
Q. & A. with Cheryl
Why did you start breeding?
I bought one Corgi and decided I wanted to have more around. I love genetics and reproduction, and I am always working on improving my stock.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are not kennel dogs. They are loved, played with, and celebrated for their idiosyncrasies. The pups are raised with Puppy Culture techniques to help ensure an easy transition into new homes. They are introduced to a variety of sounds, touches and new things from just a few days of age. They are started on a litter box, so they know to go potty in certain places- makes housebreaking easier! I have several repeat puppy parents!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
