Q. & A. with Lydia
Why did you start breeding?
We actually started with our son in 4H. He had 2 mixed breed dogs and wanted a pure breed so that he could do AKC showmanship. A Beagle mentor offered to take him under her wing, and that was it for us! Our line is based on his first junior dog, Reba, who had the nickname Red Devil. She actually stated 4H agility champion!
What makes your program special?
We breed for health, soundness, drive, and to match the standard! We believe Beagles can do it all, and we aim for our pups to learn performance sports as well as how to compete in dog shows.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
