Meet the breeder

I'm Taylor C., the breeder behind Redmond Rose Kennel located in Troy, AL. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs.

Q. & A. with Taylor

  • Why did you start breeding?

My professional grooming background gives me a unique advantage as a breeder. Years of handling Poodles of all coat types, sizes, and temperaments have given me an exceptional understanding of coat genetics, maintenance, health, and structure. I do not breed for trends—I breed for longevity, correctness, and overall quality.
  • What makes your program special?

Families choose me because I don’t aim to produce the most puppies—I aim to produce the best ones. My goal is to consistently raise healthy, well-balanced, beautiful Poodles that honor the breed and enrich the lives of the families who trust me.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Irish Setter puppies are mahogany. Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, silver-beige, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
