Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

After our family was blessed with a wonderful hunting Golden, the breeder we started with mentored us in our own breeding program. Our goal was to produce a solid family hunting dog that was just as pleasurable in the house as in the field.
  • What makes your program special?

We screen for hip, elbow, eye, and cardiac disease, as well as DNA mutations known to affect Goldens. Our puppies are raised with full-time care and receive a variety of experiences including ENS, ESI, kids, cats, game birds, and swimming. We utilize best practices for raising puppies and expand our knowledge via continuing education. We offer lifetime breeder support for puppies we raise.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
