Brigitte F.

Breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Brigitte F., the breeder behind Redwood Corgis located in Eureka, CA. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

Q. & A. with Brigitte

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bought my Girl Patsy Cline in August of 2021 and fell in love with her. Then I got Gingersnap, then my boy Cash. I adore my dogs and just thought these dogs are just gorgeous and so good. I wanted people to know the joy of Corgis I do. So I spent the next year learning everything I could about breeding Corgis.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are hand raised right in our home. We intend to only have one litter a year so they are as ready as they possibly can be temperament wise to their new homes and that they are as healthy as they can be. We make our own puppy food for our new puppies, with nutrients growing puppies need. Mom is on a prenatal formulated diet and then on a higher calcium diet for nursing strong and healthy pups. Puppies are born and raised right off our master bedroom. When old enough they have an outdoor grassy environment to play in. Kennels are not used in our program and rarely, if ever are puppies or Mom and Dad Crated. Each puppy is picked up everyday to do a quick health check and loved on.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
