Meet the breeder

I'm Lydia R., the breeder behind Reese Labradoodles located in Helena, MT. Our sweet labradoodle puppies are raised at our country home by the whole family. We love our labradoodles! The intelligence, adorable goofiness, and sheer range of capability, and adaptability to any lifestyle is so much fun!

Q. & A. with Lydia

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started raising labradoodles for our family members who wanted a great, non-shedding, family dog for a more affordable price. Each litter we have raised has been because someone wanted another one of our puppies! Whether they grow up on the farm, as bird dogs, town house companions, or just good 'ol fashioned family pets, we've had a lot of fun raising these sweet labradoodle babies!
  • What makes your program special?

Being at stay at home mom gives me the time to raise our puppies with extreme care and intentionality. I only raise one litter at a time, and because of our small, at-home operation, our pups get our undivided attention and love. They get to be raised in a true "family" atmosphere, which gives them a very loving, secure, well-socialized start from the very beginning.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, red, cream, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

The owner of Reese Labradoodle is the sweetest woman and so easy to work with. She sent tons of information and pictures to help us decide on the right dog. She drove to meet us to get our baby Autumn. Autumn is healthy and thriving. I highly recommend this breeder!
