I'm Sarah F., the breeder behind Regal Guardian Cane Corso located in Westminster, SC. All of our puppies are raised in our home alongside our 7 children who help with training and daily care giving each puppy plenty of individual attention and exposure to daily household activities early on. We focus on quality temperaments and structure producing dogs that excel in sports, confirmation or just being good family pets.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
After getting my first Corso and seeing how amazing strong, loyal, intelligent and eager to please they are I decided to breed my girl. I wanted to do it the right way and improve the breed so all of the proper testing was done before deciding to breed her and genetics were looked at carefully before picking a stud.
What makes your program special?
Our program stands out from others because we involve all of our children in training and caring for puppies from day one. They earn money and the puppies get individual training and attention daily, moreso than what a normal program can provide. They take pride in being able to teach their puppies new things and are competitive against each other.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and black brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Excellent level
Regal Guardian Cane Corso reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cane Corso.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
