Reliance Cane Corso

Meghan K.

Breeder of Cane Corso

Meet the breeder

I'm Meghan K., the breeder behind Reliance Cane Corso located in Michigan. Our dogs are part of our home and family. We are active in conformation, as well as other dog sports. We breed first and foremost for ourselves and use health screening to be able to select and provide healthy well-bred puppies to approved families. We have been dedicated to this breed since 2009.

Q. & A. with Meghan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up with animals my entire life. As a teen, I owned and competed in UKC conformation with Boxers. After years of research, rescue, and rehabilitation, I was introduced to the Cane Corso in 2009. We took our time and learned from many top breeders in the country. We produced our first litter in 2011 and then not again until 2018. I have mentored with many breeders to learn the ins and outs of breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

We are incredibly selective in our program. Our dogs are raised inside our home and puppies are hand-raised underfoot. We have extensive experience and ongoing research and learning that allows us to make the best decisions in breeding. All of our prospects are temperament tested, health screened, and evaluated by professionals. I pride myself on always being available for questions or concerns of our families.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, fawn, gray, gray brindle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
