I'm Sarah R., the breeder behind Relic Cane Corso located in Beech Island, SC. As a veterinary technician, health is very important to me. That’s why we health test every breeding dog in our program and offer a 24 month genetic health guarantee. Temperament is equally important. We heavily socialize all puppies to give them the best chance at success with their new family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got my first Corso many years ago and fell head over heels in love with the breed. I wanted to breed to share that love with others and do anything I could to better this amazing breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    Health, Socialization, and making everyone who buys from me a part of a big family. I want to get to know everyone who has one of my puppies personally and make them part of our family.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah

Sarah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Sarah partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We like to wait until puppies are at least 4-5 weeks old before we start matching puppies so we can give you an idea of the personality of your puppy. We believe it’s very important to pick a puppy that best suits your needs and to do that, personality and temperament need to be a main factor in choosing your puppy. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies sold on a companion contract range in price from $3,000 to $3,500 depend on who the parents are. Select puppies sold on breeding contract will be $4,500. All deposits and payments are non refundable. Puppies are placed on companion or breeding contract and price is based on that decision as well as which litter your puppy comes from.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Sarah with Relic Cane Corso was completely reassuring with all aspects of our puppy buying decision. She was fast to respond, knowledgeable and did not try to push the puppy on us. All questions I had were answered with thorough answers. Being first time owners of this breed we wanted to ensure we received a quality pup and that we did! You get what you pay for! We’ve had our baby a little over a week and she is mostly potty trained, catches on very quickly and is sleeping about 5 hours a night in the kennel. Couldn’t be happier at this point. Our consult with the dog trainer was that she was impressed with her demeanor at such a young age. :) would recommend Sarah as she doesn’t just breed, her dogs are part of her family and if reflects on their temperament.

    We are repeat clients of Relic. Sarah is so informative, responsive, and supportive. We got our first Relic baby, Caz, in 2020. He is an absolute angel. His temperament was perfect for our 3 kids who were then 16, 13, and 3. Caz was such a perfect fit and in amazing health. The decade prior we got 3 Corsi from another breeder (one is still alive), before finding Sarah. The other breeder’s pups were very unhealthy. The surviving girl from the orher breeder, had joint replacements before she was 2. Imagine our relief with quality pup from Relic! Almost immediately, I put a deposit down for a blue brindle girl- no matter when she arrived. We knew she’d be a great baby. Zuli arrived to our home in June 2023, and she is such a lovable weirdo. Both of the pups have sweet temperaments, and are in great health. Transport was so easy (we are in Texas). We will be Relic clients for life.
