Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodles

Kelly R.

Breeder of Assorted Doodle Crosses and Aussiedoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Kelly R., the breeder behind Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodles located in Chattanooga, TN. We do things differently at RRA by taking all breeding parents through extensive training to get Canine Good Citizen &/or Therapy certified prior to breeding to prove their capabilities and dispositions passed down to their puppies. Our goal is to produce puppies with the best temperaments capable or service and therapy work themselves. We raise puppies with evidence based practices to give our puppies the best start.

Q. & A. with Kelly

  • What makes your program special?

Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodles is a small family owned breeding program that specializes in first generation Aussiedoodles that are service and therapy dog quality. Our foundation dogs are first generation Aussiedoodles so you can be provided with evidence of AKC pedigrees from their parents that stem from AKC hall of fame recognized bloodlines. All of our puppies are clear for genetic health diseases known to the Australian Shepherd and Standard Poodle breeds. Here at Remedy Ridge we only breed dogs that have either achieved their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) titles or are working toward achieving these titles with notable potential. The intent for this program is to breed dogs that have proven themselves to exhibit dispositions capable of achieving these titles so we can faithfully live by our program goal and motto: Healing Souls with Paws of Gold. Since all of our puppies come from dogs who have underwent vigorous training and are therapy dog certified (or close to it) they have a much higher chance of becoming therapy or service dogs themselves. They will also make the perfect candidates for becoming your emotional support dog or just your canine best friend. Your Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodle is predisposed to be an intuitive, caring, intelligent and incredibly healthy member of your family. Our dogs are a big part of our lives. We work daily with our girls, and so do our guardian families which some of our other upcoming dogs reside in.We choose guardian homes so all of our dogs can live the lives we couldn’t possibly provide to them all due to the time and energy it takes to get them appropriately trained. All of our dogs have either been raised inside our home or the homes of our guardian families. They all begin training at 12 weeks and go on many adventures, are exposed to many different kinds of people and animals, and are spoiled rotten and treated like a member of the family. They all live locally and spend a lot of time with our family and dogs as well. Our guardian familes are also passionate about mental health and are eager to own therapy dogs and help be a part of our mission of healing souls with paws of gold.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
