Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica S., the breeder behind Rhapsody German Pinschers located in Topeka, KS. Our goal is to produce beautiful German Pinschers with correct temperament, good health, and able and willing to do any work asked of them. We spend a tremendous amount of time raising each litter to be the best it can be, focusing on nutrition, genetics, and science-backed enrichment programs.

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

We purchased our first German Pinscher in early 2008 as a family pet. In 2011 we got our first show dog, an AKC champion female, and we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about dog shows and German Pinschers as we showed her to her grand championship. It wasn't until 2016, after showing several other German Pinschers to their championships & grand championships, that we bred our first litter.
  • What makes your program special?

We are Avidog Associate breeders and use the Puppy Culture program to give our puppies their best start. We believe in using science-backed protocols, and we are always learning and developing our program based on the latest research. We have over 14 years of experience with GPs and have owned dogs from several different lines, and we work together with the best breeders in the US and Europe.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
