I'm Chris R., the breeder behind Ritchie’s Frenchies located in Republic, MO. At our kennel, we're passionate about raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized French Bulldogs that become cherished members of their forever families. Every puppy is raised with love in a family environment, receiving early socialization, exceptional care, and plenty of attention from day one. We prioritize health, temperament, and quality to ensure each puppy is confident, affectionate, and ready to thrive in their new home.

Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to teach my kids about how to run a business, run a P & L, and learn how to really care for the dogs. Frenchie puppies are SO much fun and I love the breed so it was a natural choice for us to go with frenchies.What makes your program special?
We really care about the dogs and teach our kids to do the same. We care about quality, not only because of the customer, but because a healthy dog is a happy dog!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, black and tan, blue, and blue fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Chris partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes AKC registration, age appropriate vaccinations and a certificate of health from our vet! The deposit holds the puppy for you until it’s time for it to go home with you!”

Parent health testing
Good level
Ritchie’s Frenchies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
