I'm Jessica & Cam C., the breeder behind River City Golden Retrievers located in Jacksonville, FL. AKC Registered Golden Retrievers. Our Goldens have clear OFA testing on hips, elbows, cardiac, & eyes to ensure healthy puppies. We test based off what the AKC recommends because we believe that ethical breeding starts with healthy parents. Our Goldens are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our Goldens have excellent temperaments, are well-behaved, and are great with children. Our family-raised Golden Retrievers are born, nurtured, and loved at home, and socialized from day one. All puppies are vet-checked, premium fed, & given age-appropriate shots & worming. We put all of our time, energy, & love into each puppy to ensure they are healthy, happy, confident babies & very loved!

  • What makes your program special?

    I decided to become a breeder of my own to share with others the same type of love I have for my goldens.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica & Cam

Jessica & Cam has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jessica & Cam partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
