I'm Ashley G., the breeder behind Rivermont Farm located in Ocala, FL. I began raising Jack Russell’s in the 1990’s and most recently began raising corgis as well. Our dogs are health tested and we strive to breed quality, healthy dogs with family friendly temperaments. Our dogs are raised on our 20 acre horse farm.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up my vet had a Jack Russell that I loved, and when I was 16 I bought my first Jack Russell with the goal of eventually becoming a breeder. By the time I was 20 I was a successful small breeder in Atlanta. I have strived to always breed top quality dogs that their families will love and be proud of!What makes your program special?
I have a certain look and disposition I strive for with my dogs and I’m proud to say I have attained it. I’m a firm believer in health testing. Our dogs are our family here on our farm and I enjoy every second with them! I love the relationships I’ve built with my puppy customers and love getting regular updates from them! Nothing is better than seeing the joy our dogs bring people!Where do your breeding dogs live?

“The price is for limited registration and includes AKC, NKC or CKC registration, current vaccines, current deworming, a microchip, a health exam and health certificate from our vet. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another litter.”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I cannot express how happy I am to have met such a wonderful person. Ashley, went beyond I could of imagine to make me feel as part of the family. My family and I had to make a hard decision back in January regarding our German Shephard. 5 months later I started inquiring about a new puppy. I came across Good Dog and began to scroll. As faith would have it, I came across the cutest puppy. I sent an inquiry and never imagine to receive a response as quickly as I did. Ashley was knowledgable about the breed and empathetic after hearing our story of our beloved Lily. She did not push or rushed me in making a deposit. After our conversation, I did not hesitated and proceeded with the deposit . Ashley, sent me additional pictures and videos and even provided me with her personal number. She kept me up to date with our puppies evolution week to week and date of when she would be able for pick up. She provided the ok from the vet for the big day. We made an appointment for pick up of our puppy. Shen welcomed us with open arms on our Gotcha Day as she likes to call it. She even got our puppy all cleaned up for our meeting. I believe our new puppy has been brought life back into our household. Thank you again Ashley for being such a great person and I consider you part of our family. We huggers need to stick together. Ashley was very helpful and responsive to me during the process of me adopting Lily my 8 week old pembroke Welsh corgi. Once I decided on Lily Ashley informed me of everything going on with Lily, i.e. when she got her claws trimmed, that Lily was going to the vet the morning I was picking her up and gave her a bath before I arrived. Ashley spent time with me and Lily once I arrived for about 45 minutes answering my questions and showing me the kennels where Lily grew up. Also showed me Lily's brothers & sisters. Before I left Ashley made it a point that she want pictures and updates on Lily's progress. Lily's ears had not stood up when I picked her up so Ashley wanted me to send pictures once they did. After Lily came home with me Ashley and I have stayed in touch. Im glad to say I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a corgi or jack russell terrier.
