Q. & A. with Aleigha
Why did you start breeding?
I started by helping my previous mentor with cleaning kennels and helping at dog shows. It sparked my interest and I wanted to get into preservation breeding. I want to produce beautiful Akitas, but I also want to produce an Akita with an amazing temperament and long life span.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are family first. I strive on temperament to ensure I’m producing mentally sound dogs. But, I also want to ensure that my dogs are structurally sound and are health tested accordingly to breed standard.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
