  • Why did you start breeding?

    I first started breeding Schnauzers about 30+ years ago. I stopped for a while due to my health, but am now back at it! I’ve raised other breeds as well, but the Schnauzer was my favorite due to their fun personality, loyalty and how easy they are to train. They are also hypoallergenic, which was another major factor in choosing this select breed to raise.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised in a clean, healthy environment, and are treated with care. All of their physical and emotional needs are seen to and they are well socialized in preparation to go to their new home.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include parti, liver, salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joyce

Joyce has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Joyce partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“I take different things into account when placing a Puppy with a new family. Previous experience with a schnauzer is appreciated, but not required. They can be very active, although some tend to be loving lap buddies and thats ok as long as they receive adequate exercise. They are all loyal and smart, regardless of their temperament. I would like to know that they will receive the attention that they deserve and need to be healthy and happy. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $650 - $950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes full registration with CKC. It also includes first round of vaccinations, vet check, and their medical records. The deposit and and money put towards a puppy to reserve it, is NON-refundable and all transactions must be made through the Good Dog program. Placing a deposit on a puppy will reserve him/her in your name making it unavailable to others. Therefore all deposits are NON-refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Joyce may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    What a joy it was meeting Joyce and her beautifulpuppies. I had lost my precious Sebastian after almost 14 years. I was devastated at his loss. I had looked at alot of puppies and different breeders. While looking again for a puppy, I came across Joyce's litters. The moment I saw this little man I knew I had to have him. His name is Walker's Sir Bentley. What a beautiful little guy!! It was wonderful working with Joyce. She was so kind and never seemed put out if you wanted to see your pup.     This was one of the most easiest process in adopting a dog that have ever seen. Ms. Joyce was amazing with communication and updates about our little Leo. She always offered us the option to FaceTime anytime I want to see him and talk to him. She’s a lovely prepared as a going away bag for some toys some baby wipes, some pampers, which I really appreciate you can tell them that she only cares for what she does and she cares to get these dogs into good loving homes and I’m so happy that I was chosen as one of those homes.     I’m not even sure where to start, this experience was such an easy and wonderful experience from start to finish. Ms. Joyce was amazing and from the very first message I just knew she was the perfect person. She walked me through the process and worked with me and any questions I had. Even questions I may have forgot to ask she was on top of it. Today’s world you just never know who or what you’re about to encounter and everything is a risk, Ms Joyce exceeded my expectations with all this and made me feel at home hours away and before even meeting. That alone made such an impact and impression with me. We came all the way from Nashville, TN and I would do it over and over again just to get a puppy from her. LuLu is so so precious and so adorable. You can honestly tell she came from a loving home to her forever home she was in great hands. 20/10 I will recommend over and over again!!     Joyce was great to work with when we got our Bobbi! She is a very social baby with a very healthy coat of hair and beautiful markings!     This is our second dog from Joyce. We got our first dog last June and almost 14 months later, we added this small package of fun. He’s already carved out a special place in the family. Both dogs are adjusting well. I think that has something to do with how meticulous Joyce is with her breeding approach. Both experiences have been unbelievably easy with open lines of communication. We can not recommend her enough for anyone looking for a good, well mannered, and well cared for miniature schnauzer.

    This was the second time I went to Joyce. I wanted a companion for Peggy Sue , who I got last year. I was actually asking her if she had any that were older so I wouldn’t have do do puppy stage. Then I thought, the girl I got before was so good, I jumped back in. I am so in love, and Joyce is the BEST!!!!! I’m not sure, but if I decide to have more, she has the sweetest dogs!!! You never know!!!
