I'm Mercedes M., the breeder behind RM Kennels located in Arbuckle, CA. We take great pride in our puppies, and we strive to produce sound, healthy puppies that fit the breed standard. All of our dogs live in our home along with our client boarding dogs. Our dogs and puppies are raised with our children and other animals.

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve been attending dog shows with my mom since I was about 5 years old. We raised and bred Akitas for years and then made the switch to Cane Corso.What makes your program special?
We take great pride in the health, temperament, and physical appearance of all our dogs and puppies. We are there for the puppies we produce for their entire life.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Our puppies come with a genetic health guarantee, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, tails docked, and their rear declaws removed. We do the Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Test at 7 weeks. $1000 deposit to hold your puppy. The remaining balance is due at 7 weeks.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Dental-skeletal-retinal anomaly (DSRA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
