Meet the breeder
I'm Chris R., the breeder behind Rochester located in Chester, VA. We may be a small kennel, but we have BIG standards and a bigger love for puppies! We focus on raising healthy, happy, confident puppies that are ready to become wonderful family companions, and fine athletes that bring home trophies.
Q. & A. with Chris
Why did you start breeding?
I have been a dog breeder for over 36 years. I started with German Shepherds, Alaskan Malamutes and for the past 26 years Siberian Huskies. It all started in Eastern Europe with my first dog, Lordy. He was my best friend, and losing him to old age broke my heart. He inspired me to breed healthy, loving dogs so other families could experience that same special bond. What makes your program special?
We’re Siberian Husky lovers through and through! Our dogs are family, and we’re dedicated to raising healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies for loving homes. And yes, the dogs sometimes run the household! What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include agouti and white, red and white, brown and white, black and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.
