I'm Olivia G., the breeder behind Rock Canyon Goldens located in Provo, UT. RCG was born from healing, hope, and a deep love for the Golden Retriever. Our goal is to preserve the breed through thoughtful, ethical breeding while raising dogs with the health, temperament, and structure to excel as beloved family companions, performance partners, and therapy or service dogs.

Getting a puppy from Olivia
Olivia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Olivia partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“We care about the success of each puppy in their new home. Puppies are matched by myself and other breeders I respect who help me evaluate temperament and fit. Please inform me of your goals with your puppy, whether as a family pet, working service dog, or other sports prospect so I can make the best decision on which puppy will fit your home best.”
Price
“Price includes AKC registration, microchipping, first round of vaccinations, puppy take home kit, first dewormer, socialization, etc. Deposits are non-refundable and accepted once puppies are 3 days old. We do not accept early deposits.”

About Kat
Kat is a mellow girl who excels as a working therapy dog. She has 5 AKC conformation points (with one major win) and went reserve winners to a 5-point major in Denver, CO. She has her BCAT, THD, CGCA, CGCU, and TKN. She enjoys spending time with people, playing, and is the queen of the household.
Parent health testing
Excellent level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
