I'm Katie M., the breeder behind Rocking Ridge Ranch located in Eau Galle, WI. I have owned Pembroke Welsh Corgis for over 15 years and have loved the breed since day one. In addition to corgis, I own a ranch and raise Boer goats and Quarter Horses. My corgis work right along side me and are exposed to ranch life and livestock.
Q. & A. with Katie
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first corgi over 15 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I want to share my passion for the breed with others and want to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy Pembroke Welsh Corgis for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed.
What makes your program special?
I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability. My dogs and puppies are part of my ranch are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. I also look forward to making lifelong friends with my puppies new families.
