We’re excited to announce an upcoming litter of golden retriever puppies from our wonderful pair, Rip and Locks! These two are the perfect match—Locks is a sweet and stunning girl with a calm, loving nature, while Rip is a loyal, fun-loving companion who adores being outside and spending time with his people. Together, they bring out the best in each other, and we expect their puppies to inherit their affectionate temperaments and classic golden retriever charm. Both Rip and Locks have been fully health tested. They have OFA certifications and PennHIP evaluations, and they’ve been screened for all recommended genetic conditions to ensure a healthy, strong foundation for their puppies. Puppies will be raised in our home with plenty of love, early socialization, and exposure to everyday life. They will make wonderful family pets, therapy prospects, or loyal lifelong companions. Stay tuned for updates on this special litter—we can’t wait to meet them, and we know you’ll love them just as much as we do. We expect puppies to be born mid-end of May and go home end of July!🐾

Peach has the softest, most gentle nature, and nothing makes her happier than exploring the winding trails of the Rocky Mountains right outside our home. She’s a true sweetheart—especially with children—always patient, affectionate, and ready to offer her belly for rubs. Her loyalty runs deep, and her athletic spirit shines whether she’s hiking, playing, or simply keeping up with the family. Peach brings so much warmth and joy into our lives, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our home and our program.

Her deep, soulful eyes are full of kindness and curiosity, always ready to offer comfort or share in a moment of play. Locks is the definition of sweetness—whether she’s softly resting her head on your knee or bounding joyfully through the grass, tail wagging like sunshine. About Rip
Rip is a big buddy with a heart of gold- if we had to guess what his favorite thing to do is, we would say it’s being with his people! Regardless if it’s duck hunting on Utah lake, hiking in the mountains, or lounging on the back porch with the family, he is content! Rip is the perfect companion with such a sweet demeanor and personality. He is wonderful with children, and always rolls over for belly rubs when kids are around! We get compliments everywhere we go with Rip, his dark red coat is gorgeous and people fall in love with him immediately! We love having Rip in our home and part of our program!💛

Steve and his family were wonderful and easy to communicate with from the get go. We have had our puppy for a little over a month now and Steve continues to respond to emails quickly and with so much helpful information and advice as we settle into puppyhood. Stella our puppy is bright, sweet, extremely confident, and smart. Potty training was a breeze and the fact that Steve had started the puppies on crate training before pickup also made that transition much smoother. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Field Goldens.

Steve and Ellie I can not thank enough for how easy they were to work with. I have been working with them for over a year and I believe they couldn’t make it any easier then it was. They kept giving me updates on litters and how they were doing. What they were doing for training and how they were doing every single week, which was something I looked forward to every week. They responded within 24 hours from any questions I had. Was just amazing to work with them and I got my puppy and he is already car trained l, does really good in the kennel and no accidents so far. Has been the happiest and most loving puppy I could ask for.

Steve was wonderful to work with. Great response time to messages. Very helpful and informative when talking on the phone about our interest in purchasing one of their puppies. We are first time ever dog owners and Steve helped us feel comfortable and confident stepping into this new world. Great communication about picking up our puppy, what to expect when we got home, and answering any questions we had. Everything about the process was great and we are loving our new littlest family member!

Steve made the whole process so easy! He was incredibly responsive, was able to answer all of my questions, provide me valuable information, and give me plenty of updates and pictures of my puppy. I really appreciate that Steve understands how big of a commitment a puppy is, and was so patient with all of my questions. Most importantly, I absolutely love my new puppy Jet - who is awesome! I would definitely go back to Steve & Rocky Mountain Field Goldens in the future

Steve and Ellie were my main contact points at RMFG. I first messaged them because of the descriptions of their dogs. They seemed to treat their dogs like family and to know them like one of their own kids. Then I learned from conversations back and forth that they are exactly who they say they are. My family had just lost our golden in a tragic accident. I reached out to Steve, asking if they had any puppies that were confident and playful enough to handle the attention of my four kids ages 10 and under. I also explained that I needed him to be submissive and cuddly enough that he wouldn’t be too hard to train. Steve immediately indicated a boy puppy that had the balance of a playful and cuddly personality. It was easy to fall in love with the dog over a picture because their dogs are beautiful. Ellie also sent us several pictures and videos demonstrating his dual personality in action and continued to send updates until we picked him up. When I met Steve with the dog for the first time at the airport, there were lots of noises, distractions, and people to greet. Notwithstanding, the dog was calm and confident and up for the adventure. When he was tired, he would sit on my lap or sleep under my chair. He has not had one potty accident in the house since we brought him home. We taught him to use the doggy door on his first night home and he’s been using it to access our designated potty area ever since. I’m so proud of him. He’s such a smart boy!!! What is even more impressive is how exactly spot on Steve got his personality and how fitting he is for my family and our energy levels. We feel so blessed to have this sweet guy in our home! I 💯 would get a dog from them again. 🙌
