Due Aug. 2026
I'm Samantha R., the breeder behind Rodgers Retrievers located in Pasco, WA. We raise health-tested AKC Golden Retrievers with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our home with daily enrichment and socialization, making them wonderful family companions and excellent therapy or service prospects.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
Samantha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Samantha partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“At Rodgers Retrievers, our goal is to match each puppy with the family where they will thrive. Rather than selecting solely by appearance, we evaluate every puppy's temperament, confidence, energy level, and personality as they grow. Families are matched with puppies based on their lifestyle, goals, and preferences, whether they are looking for a family companion, therapy prospect, service dog prospect, or active adventure partner. We carefully consider each puppy's unique traits to ensure the best possible lifelong match. Puppy selections are made in reservation order after our temperament evaluations are complete. While we do our best to honor color and gender preferences, the overall match takes priority to set both the puppy and family up for success.”

“Puppies are priced from $2,500-$3,500 based on pedigree, health testing, and pairing. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy. Financing is available through Klarna on Good Dog. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy. Deposits may be transferred to a future Rodgers Retrievers litter but are not eligible for a cash refund.”
Samantha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Samantha offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Samantha directly.
