I'm Roepke Golden Retrievers, the breeder behind Roepke Golden Retrievers located in Fair Grove, MO. We are a family of seven raising AKC Golden Retrievers in our home. All pups come from health-tested, registered parents and are socialized and gently trained from day one. We raise friendly, playful companions ready to join loving families.

Why did you start breeding?
We decided to start breeding when we saw something truly special in our golden retriever, Georgia. She was gentle, happy, eager to please, a great snuggler, and wonderful with kids and other pets. Our passion for loving her collided with our interest in raising dogs with those same qualities. We wanted to share the kind of companionship and joy she brings to our family. That inspired us to begin a small, intentional breeding program focused on health, temperament, and helping other families experience the same bond we have with Georgia.What makes your program special?
What makes our breeding program special is the family-centered way we raise our dogs and puppies. Our goldens live in our home—not in kennels—and they’re part of our everyday life. We focus on health, temperament, and early socialization so each puppy grows up confident, loved, and ready for life.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Roepke Golden Retrievers partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

We wait until the puppies are 6 weeks old, and then begin the process of allowing families to work with the Roepkes to choose the perfect pup for them in the order that deposits were accepted. ”

“Price includes vet check, first shots, deworming, health records, AKC registration, early socialization, a go-home kit, and lifelong breeder support. Our $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy and guarantees your place on our waitlist. The deposit is applied to the total purchase price.”

We are thrilled to announce a successful breeding between our girl Georgia and the handsome Mff Grey Goose On The Rocks DCAT DS CGCA CGCU TKN VHMP FITB otherwise known as Goose! Goose is an incredible, multi-titled athlete (CHIC #188238) with OFA clearances and genetic panel. Combined with Georgia’s sound build, gentle nature, and sweet demeanor, we are expecting beautiful, trainable, and confident puppies with classic golden temperaments. The Details: Expected Arrival: Late Fall Go-Home: Right before Christmas!🎁🎄 Puppies are raised in our home using Puppy Culture (ENS, sound desensitization, early socialization, and potty/crate foundations) We have started our waitlist! Georgia Rose “Georgia,” a beautifully structured Golden Retriever with a sweet temperament, strong genetics, and a bright future ahead of her. She is the foundation of Roepke Golden Retrievers. While still early in her career, Georgia represents everything we strive to produce in our program—sound structure, excellent health, and an easy, loving disposition that makes her a wonderful companion both in and out of the home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Three things I look for when choosing a breeder are the puppies were raised in the home with a good puppy culture, health testing of the dogs at the correct age with the appropriate organizations and transparency from the breeder. I found all of these at Roepke Breeders. I recently adopted an older puppy from them. Morgan did conduct an interview before ultimately choosing my family for the puppy. She was completely transparent about the puppy's previous experience, training and health. Once I picked up the puppy it was clear he had a very positive experience in his first 8 weeks of life. He has been the thoroughly checked by my vet and is completely healthy. The Roepkes are definitely a breeder I would return to. It's clear they care for their dogs deeply both physically and emotionally.
