I'm Alena D., the breeder behind Romanov’s Bulldogs located in Lutz, FL. We give each of our dogs and puppies the best care that we can. We have outstanding puppies with wonderful temperaments that thrive in the ring and as our companions. Our goal is to produce puppies that can compete in a variety of venues, as well as be faithful friends to their loving families.

Why did you start breeding?
Our first bulldog was purchased as a safe dog breed for our autistic son and then she become a family member who helped our son achieve soo much in his life. We breed her to add more bulldogs to our family.What makes your program special?
We breed English and French standard bulldogs. All of our dogs in breeding program mentally stable and genetically checked. Small breeder who spent a lots of time with dogs and puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The price included health certificate by accredited veterinarian, first shots and AKC paperwork. Deposit will allow reservation of the puppy. If puppy doesn’t pass health certificate deposit will be returned or family will have a choice to move deposit for future litter.”

Tracheal Hypoplasia
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I bought a surprise puppy for my fiancé, who has always wanted an English Bulldog. I was scared about picking the wrong breeder, so I am so glad I found Alena! Working with Alena (and her husband!) was a truly wonderful experience. She promptly communicated with me whenever I had questions leading up to getting our puppy, and she still is super responsive weeks later. Alena had no problem accommodating me when my initial plans to pick up our puppy via driving changed to picking her up at the airport; she made the airport experience a breeze! Moreover, our puppy was freshly washed that day, clearly very loved, and was sent home with me with a bag of food and toys from home. It was clear not only through our messages, but also in person, that Alena and her family love the bulldog breed and are committed to raising healthy bulldogs. "Chief Molly" is the star of our little love story right now! We can't thank Alena enough for bringing her into our lives!
