I'm Sam R., the breeder behind Rose Great Danes located in Durango, CO. The Great Dane puppies in this litter are from AKC Registered parents and can also be registered with the AKC. Blacks and mantle Great Danes are available. We have Males and Females, show potential and pets. Healthy parents have exceptionally good temperments.

Why did you start breeding?
I love animals and am interested in genetics and had lots of pets as a boy. I enjoyed breeding and raising tropical fish, and my boxer did have a litter of pups. My Dane LOLA, was such an outstanding example of the breed, that it turned me into a breeder. I wanted to make sure that I would always have some of LOLA by my side. My 9 year old Harlequin female is 6th generation of Rose Danes.What makes your program special?
I have been working on my pedigree for over 30 years. My first breeding mama I traced her pedigree back 12 generations. My breeding program has produced 9 champions. I have the rare pleasure of producing the first merle in history to win BIF, Best in Futurity. Folks comment how especially sweet tempered my dogs are. Jodie Keim said that no one takes better care of their puppies than Sam Rose.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include mantle merle, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

“The price included dew claw removal, first vaccinations, vet exam, health guarantee, support of breeder. If the client changes their mind the deposit is not refundable. If we are not able to deliver the puppy as promised, the deposit is refundable.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
