I'm Ashley B., the breeder behind Rougaroux Bulldogs located in Baton Rouge, LA. We raise quality health-tested puppies raised in our home. Each of our dogs and pups is loved like family and given the best life! We breed quality puppies from health-tested parents to ensure the best health and quality family members. Our puppies are raised in our home not a kennel. They are well-socialized and handled daily. I am happy to answer any and all questions, I just ask that you are serious when applying.

Why did you start breeding?
I got my first bulldog 8 years ago and while she was the most amazing pet and bulldog I could ever ask for, she was not the best quality. I strive to make a better bulldog and look for characteristics that compliment my girls' faults.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are fallow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, utd vaccines and dewormings, 1-year health guarantee, a microchip, and a puppy go-home kit. Deposits are required to hold puppies if they are below the age of 8 weeks. Once they have received their final veterinary check at 8 weeks, they will be free to leave.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Ashley offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Ashley directly.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
